There are many excellent places to eat in the town. Key areas to peruse
are around Onze Lieve
Vrouweplein, Vrijthof, Maaspromenade and Wycker Brugstraat. Also around
Tongersestraat, close to the Economics and Law faculties of the
Universiteit Maastricht.

Il Bacaro: A real cozy Italian ‘bar e cucina’ with great Italian
‘cicchetti’ (Italian style tapas) located at the Vrijthof. Great food
and whines for affordable prices. Vrijthof 16E.

Witloof: Great hotspot for a typical Belgium dish! All the
ingredients are Belgium produce. This
restaurant in Maastricht is a great place for good food for reasonable

the perfect hotspot for you. A cozy
